Big, massive, epic announcement from GEN79!

 

Dear friends, Today is both a happy and sad day in the history of GEN79. First GEN79.com, as you know it, is coming to a close. We will no longer be running street teams for the various artists that we have worked over the past two years. Some artists will be launching their own street teams but others will not. (Keep tabs on their personal websites for more updates) We want to thank you for all your hard work for our artists over the past 3 years.

But there is happy news, we are being reborn! We are growing up and growing a mustache! (Hello puberty!) Check out our sassy new logo!

 

So what’s happening? We’re turning into two lifestyle marketing programs. One program will allow reps to receive college credit for promoting our artists called ‘stache lifestyle reps and the second program will be a stipend (paid) program. Both of these programs are a significant increase in work and commitment and will include work with brand partners and not just musicians. Our intern program is full for the current semester but we will be taking applications for summer very soon. The stipend program will be launching within the next month, but if you sign up here we will contact you about working projects for us in the future through either program. We will still provide you ways to help support bands if you are dedicated to it.

 

GEN79.com will now be called MustacheMania.com and provide artist news and contests. We will be launching a brand new, super awesome site on April 1st (No jokes) and we will also continue our bi-weekly newsletter (a personal favorite). In the meantime you can follow us on Twitter , Tumblr and Facebook for all the same fun you’ve come to expect from us and we’ll keep you updated with info about our two new programs. We’re still here and we want to still be friends we just have a mustache now!
