Gen79.com lets you connect with and help out some of your favorite bands, as well as get prizes, exclusives, love notes (well, maybe not) and other boss gear for spreading the good word.

How do I join Gen79?
Simple, go here to sign up for Gen79. From there, tell us a little bit about yourself by answering some questions and you're good to go.

How much does is cost?
Absolutely nothing! ...and people say you can't get anything for free.

What is the difference between Gen79 and a regular fan club?
The difference between the two is that with Gen79, you actually help the band out! You are not just sitting around waiting for pre-sale tickets to become available, you are making a name for the bands that you know and love!

How do I help out my favorite bands?
Join Gen79.com and sign up for one or more projects setup for the bands you would like to help. After doing so, simply complete the tasks for each project, fill out a report and get points for cool stuff.

What if my favorite band doesn't have a project running?
No worries. You can still help your favorite bands when they don't have an active project. Just visit their profile page and use the thumbnails and banners available to post on your MySpace or other site profiles, or in the signature of your forum posts.

What do I do after I join Gen79?
Sign up for a band, or bands that you like and start getting points!

How do I get points?
You get points by completing specific tasks that are given for each artist project you sign up for, and then filling out a report when you're through.

What are points good for?
Points are good for the Gen79 store, where you can redeem your points for t-shirts, CD's, posters, and any other goodness that we stock it with.

How and when do I join a team?
Once you become a member of Gen79, you can sign up for as many artists as you want to. Simple as that.

I tried to click on some links, why did it take me to a log-in page?
To access those areas (e.g. Projects, Points, etc.), you must be a member of Gen79.To become a member, click here.

Where can I send questions that are not answered here?
